Consulting is a respect driven area. MBB goes after highly intelligent people: physicists, mathematicians. IB has a lot of finance and MBA people. The difference in the type of people they recruit makes huge differences when it comes to work.
Do you want to work with intelligent, well educated, respectful coworkers? Or do you want to work with often psychotic, ill mannered after 5pm, status driven coworkers?
